People living in remote and hard-to-reach areas of Ghana face serious barriers to basic healthcare. This project improves access by delivering essential health services, outreach, and support directly to communities with limited or no nearby health facilities.
Distance, poor roads, high transport costs, and limited health infrastructure prevent many rural and remote communities from accessing timely medical care. As a result, preventable illnesses go untreated, leading to complications and avoidable deaths.
By taking healthcare services directly to remote areas, this project removes barriers of distance and cost, ensuring timely care and reducing preventable illness.
