The Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation is launching a large-scale Community Health Fair to provide free medical care for 7,000 people in Oraifite, Anambra State, and surrounding communities. We're seeking to raise $50,000 to cover essential medications and treatments for common but critical illnesses like malaria, typhoid, tuberculosis (TB), respiratory infections, and eye conditions like glaucoma. The Health for Every Home initiative brings healthcare directly to those who need it most.
Thousands in rural Southeast Nigeria face life-threatening illnesses without access to healthcare. Conditions like malaria and typhoid, which are easily treatable, often go unmanaged due to high costs and lack of access to hospitals or medications. For many, a simple cold or an undiagnosed eye condition can become a major crisis.
The Health for Every Home initiative brings healthcare directly to those who need it most. With your support, we will: Distribute free medications for malaria, typhoid, TB, colds, and more. Offer free eye care, glasses and screenings for glaucoma and other vision issues. Provide health education and check-ups to raise awareness and prevention. Reach 7,000 people across Oraifite and neighboring towns.
This project goes beyond short-term treatment. It builds trust in healthcare, encourages early detection, and empowers families to take charge of their health. In the long run, we're reducing preventable illnesses and creating healthier, stronger communities.
