We are excited to share that the Health for Every Home Community Health Fair, taking place in May 2026, is now underway in Oraifite, Anambra State. Led by the Sir Emeka Okwuosa Foundation in partnership with the VOOM Foundation and local organizations, this initiative is already bringing free, life-saving healthcare to communities where access is often limited or unaffordable.
In the weeks leading up to the fair, our team focused on intensive preparations—procuring essential medications, organizing logistics, and mobilizing both medical and non-medical volunteers. The response has been inspiring, with many individuals stepping forward to offer their time and skills. Branding and community awareness efforts have also played a key role in ensuring that those who need care most are reached.
Now underway, the health fair is providing consultations, medications, and screenings for illnesses such as malaria, typhoid, tuberculosis (TB), respiratory infections, and eye conditions. Beneficiaries are also receiving eye tests, glaucoma screenings, and corrective glasses, alongside practical health education to support prevention and early treatment.
This effort brings us closer to our goal of reaching 7,000 people with free healthcare. More importantly, it is building trust, restoring hope, and helping families take control of their health.
