Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project health, sanitation and food security support for poor farming families. This reporting period we focus our assistance to food security as we prepare for the coming rains after this dry condition. It is several weeks now that we have no rain as a result of the El Nino phenomenon and we hope that this will change soon. We are preparing for food security support to our beneficiaries by advocating the growing of high-valued fruit trees in their farms. We explain to them that it is better to have at least 15% of their farm areas planted to fruit trees as permanent crops. This reporting period we are able to assist 35 farmers to shift to this practice. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
