Since March to June 2025 Proyecto La Nueva Esperanza prepared and distributed meals to 57 elderly participants. They received the meals at their homes. During this period a total of 2,422 meals were distributed during the weekends. Our cook prepares different menus each week. This service is very important for our low income participants because food prices are increasing and nutrition is necessary for a good health.
Four participants received the housekeeper service (cleaning and cooking).
We distributed 35 groceries boxes to participants and community families who were in special need.
Three participants were taken to governmental offices and/or to the supermarket.
On special days 55 gifts were distributed among our participants: 33 on Mother’s Day (a mug, shampoo and hand sanitizer) and 22 (a mug and cookies) on Father’s Day. On Father’s Day one elderly said: “This is the first gift I receive on this day and I really appreciate it.”
We are pleased to be able to help our elderly thanks to our donors that make this possible.
