From Montelíbano, Córdoba, to the north of Colombia, last January Marielis arrived at our Children's Hospital San Vicente Fundación, where all our specialists and the human team received her to provide immediate, warm and safe care for her heart disease.
Her biggest dream is to be a veterinarian because she loves animals, hopes to help them and enjoy them a lot, just like she does with her pet Maxi, a small puppy that makes her very happy. Also among his favorite tastes are the traditional food and play with his three older brothers.
She was operated and in less than a month the joy of her heart being healthy was already evident in her smile. Marielis had a successful recovery and although at first, she did not talk much with the nurses, now she emphasizes her love and gratitude because they became her best friends during the time she was in our Children's Hospital.
Her mother, Marisol, is very grateful for the treatment her daughter received at the Hospital and expresses that the care provided was extraordinary. Contributing to causes such as our Child Unit of the Heart for Children of Medellin allows that more children like Marielis to receive specialized care so that their heart can beat strongly.
