Eimy is synonymous with love and hope

By Laura Botero | Project Leader

23 days ago, in a clinic in the city of Medellin, Eimy was born, a baby with a great desire to live who arrived at our Hospital approximately 15 days ago.

Eimy was born with a congenital heart disease consisting of a problem with the structure and function of her heart, which was detected using an echocardiogram, where there was suspicion of right ventricular hypoplasia, a congenital heart malformation, characterized by poor development of the right ventricle of your heart.

From the clinic where she was born, she was referred to our Children's Hospital, with the recommendation that she needed a place with specialized cardiologists who could attend to her case, that's how they arrived at our Children's Heart Unit, where her entire process is taking place. Recovery and monitoring.

Her mother is very grateful to all of our specialists and affirms that: "The attention we have received has been excellent from all the staff, Eimy has undergone all the necessary examinations and has taken great care of her"
