A day in the life of a patient

Today this lady visited the clinic. She comes regularly to the clinic for her medication, mostly for hypertension. She tells us that she walks about 70 minutes to the bus and then rides the bus for another 75 minutes to make the trip.

Previously, she attended a different clinic near her community but they do not have her medicine and she can not afford it. She said she was very happy with the medicine and the good care she receives here at the Clinica de Esperanza. It is very cool that her name is Esperanza which means hope, the same as the clinic.

We work very hard to provide hope to those that are seeking hope. We appreciate all of you that make that happen.
