It has been our great priveledge to help the new students starting at Aragua, Education is a very important part of healthcare as it changes the trajectory of their entire future. The Clinic provided this years schooll supplies. Also, a group in Kentucky raised the funds to have uniforms made for the children. Here in Honduras, even though school is free, they must have a uniform to attend. We are very grateful for the group in Paducah, Kentucky for providing this for the kids.
The clinic supplied them with school supplies, a white board for the kindergarten teacher and hope to help them put in a library later this year.
It is a true priveledge to see this school flourish under the care of several mission groups here from the states. Reach one:Teach one, the Peducah group, and the town Mayor of Ojojona which the school resides in its district. A water filter was also provided from Pure Aqua Vida so they can drink clean water and kitchen supplies by the same Paducah church and IRC.
The kids say it all. Thank you everyone.
