This year Clinica de Esperanza, with your help, we have begun progress into the future. Construction has begun on building to house students for training. Medical interns, PA students. ARNP students, nursing students and young men and women training to become pharmacists. The plans were finalized in January and the work is progressing.
To aid in the progress of the Honduran economy, we are hiring people local to our community to do the work. This allows for you not only to aid in healthcare but to help with people struggling to feed their families. The men chosen so far are from a local town, Tierre de Padre and are a part of an indigenous Lenca tribe.
To date the driveway has been completed and foundation is laid down. Next we will progress to the structure of the building. The student learning center will be located directly behind the clinic so as to be convenient for students to aid in the care of the local people and gain knowledge of 3rd world medicine.
Join us in this project to provide education to our future health care providers. Thank you for your support thus far. Please continue to follow our progress on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/clinicadeesperanza/ in Santa Ana, Honduras.
In gratitude,
