Being grateful is both a state of the mind and the amazing opportunity to give thanks for the ‘little’ and the “big” happenings in our lives. Have you had such a happening in your life recently? Let me share with you a short story about two little baby boys, Hung and Tu. Hung was nearly two when his parents were told he had a hole in his heart. They were so poor they could not afford the surgery.
And Tu was just born when his parents were informed that he had a severe deformity in his heart. The devastation for the parents was great!
But there is a good part of these little boys’ stories! The doctors who found the heart abnormalities also knew of MEDRIX organization. MEDRIX has helped over 174 parents and little patients just like Hung and Tu. MEDRIX provides life saving heart surgery for children whose parents could not afford such a miracle for their child. Hung and Tu will only know the stories of why they have scars on their handsome little chests. And like over 174 families of children with life-saving heart surgery, their parents thanked MEDRIX and persons like you for giving them a chance to see their little guys grow strong and healthy.
Join us and others to give what you can so the number of children who need lifesaving heart surgery will continue to be strong and courageous. Thank you! Over 174 parents and their children thank you! MEDRIX thanks you for joining us to provide many more needed life-saving heart surgeries for children in Vietnam!
