Healthy and tasty foods for everyone!

By Thomas Hartig | Communication Officer

With YOUR help in 2018 we coached over 353 people in:

    • Having a successful Nutrition Garden & Casa-Granja (Backyard Farm)
    • Understanding nutrition needs, especially for young children
    • Using nutritious plants and proteins in healthy meals & fresh juices
    • Keeping kitchens clean and free of pathogens

This is a great success that we want to celebrate with YOU!

But not only this! Our new partnerships of with 2 local resaurants mean that now even more people can enjoy healthy foods!

At Mayers' Restaurant in San Bernardino, guests now enjoy nutritious meals produced in clean kitchens for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Also the up-scale Don Carlos Restaurants in Mazatenango and Xela use our clean kitchen and nutritious garden techniques to offer their guests healthy foods such as an omelet made with fresh mushrooms and greens, grown on site. These restaurants are a great example of putting to work the experiences and knowledge our local Seeds Team has shared with them.

We are looking forward to expanding our rural community development program with YOUR help in 2019! We invite YOU to become a special recurring donor with just $25 - Pays for 1 week of home coaching visits for a family - or to make a major gift to help us better the future of family lives!
