The most important goal of Seeds' work in rural Guatemala is that families succeed in acquiring and implementing practical knowledge that helps them build better, heealthier lives. This means that our coaching and training includes a range of integrated concepts.
Thus, in addition to teaching proper hygiene and food handling in the kitchen, the "Clean Kitchens" program also promotes growing food in clean ways, better disposal of household wastes, including recycling and composting where possible, and general household health knowledge.
Better lives for rural families means a better start for rural kids in Guatemala -- better nutrition, better growth and development, better ability to learn.
The Seeds program has helped more than 1000 families in 10 villages and small communities in rural Guatemala, thanks to your past support. It is very rewarding for our Team that new families are coming to our Learning Center each week, asking to learn and participate with us, because they have seen the success and happiness of their neighbors.
We want to continue to work with as many families as we can. For this, we need you to please RENEW YOUR SUPPORT!
