Dear Friend,
Syria is entering a new chapter. After years of war, families are finally returning to their cities, towns and villages. But what they're finding is heartbreaking—homes reduced to rubble, neighborhoods unrecognizable, nothing left to start over with.
Right now, over a million people in Syria have come back to absolutely nothing. No walls to shelter them. No clean water. No way to earn a living. They survived the war, and now they're facing homelessness and hunger in the place they once called home.
This is where your support comes in. Thanks to donors like you, we've been able to start helping families rebuild—not just houses, but lives. Your donations have gone toward temporary shelters, repairing damaged homes, and providing essential household items so families can move out of camps and back into a place of their own.
But honestly? The need is enormous, and we've only just begun. With so many families returning and so little funding, we can't reach everyone who needs us yet.
This moment matters. Syria is being rebuilt, and we have a chance to help families do it with dignity—to give them a safe place to sleep, a door they can lock, a roof over their heads.
We've attached photos from our recent work—families moving into repaired homes, volunteers distributing household essentials, small moments of hope in the middle of so much destruction.
Please, don't let these families wait any longer. Your donation today means someone in Syria can finally come home.
Help us rebuild. Donate now.
With hope and gratitude,
The Smile Givers International Team
