Dear Donors,
We are grateful to inform you that this project has received donations. Although the amount received so far is not yet enough to carry out the project, we deeply thank you for your generosity. Every contribution, no matter the size, takes us closer to giving hearing aids to disadvantaged schoolchildren who need them to learn and communicate better.
Hearing loss is an invisible challenge that keeps many children behind in class. In Nigeria, many disadvantaged families cannot afford hearing tests or devices, leaving children to struggle with speech, isolation, and poor academic performance. Without hearing aids, these children often fall behind, and some eventually drop out of school because they cannot cope. Providing hearing aids can make a life-changing difference, allowing them to participate fully in learning and social activities.
Our plan is to provide 50 schoolchildren with hearing aids after professional hearing assessments. Teachers and parents will also be engaged to help the children adapt and make full use of the devices. For now, we are waiting until funds are sufficient to purchase quality devices and cover fitting, training, and follow-up support.
We sincerely thank you for the donations already received. While the current amount cannot yet cover the project, your generosity gives hope to the children and their families. We look forward to sharing photos and updates once the project begins.
Warm regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
