In Gaza, the loss of homes is no longer an isolated incident—it has become a daily reality for thousands of families whose houses have been destroyed by ongoing bombardment. Many families suddenly find themselves without shelter, sleeping outdoors under extremely harsh conditions, with no sense of safety or privacy.
Children sleep in the open, mothers struggle to protect their young ones from cold and rain, and fathers stand helpless after losing the home that once represented stability and security. Repeated storms and heavy rainfall have worsened the suffering, washing away makeshift shelters and soaking the few belongings families managed to save.
In response to this urgent humanitarian crisis, Saed Relief and Development implemented an emergency tent distribution project across several displacement areas in Gaza. The initiative aimed to provide temporary, safe shelter for families who lost their homes entirely. Tents were distributed according to humanitarian standards, considering family size and vulnerability, with priority given to the most at-risk households.
These emergency tents offered protection from harsh weather conditions and restored a minimum level of dignity and privacy for displaced families. They were not merely pieces of fabric, but symbols of safety and hope during a time dominated by loss and fear.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors and supporters who made this vital project possible. Your generosity helped protect families who had lost everything. We encourage you to continue donating and to share this report with family and friends so that shelter can reach every displaced family in need across Gaza.
