1. Project Background
The province of North Kivu, in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, is facing a severe humanitarian crisis due to years of armed conflict. Over 600,000 people have been displaced and now live in precarious conditions. Displaced women and girls are particularly vulnerable, with little to no access to safe menstrual hygiene products or proper education on menstrual health.

Thanks to our collaboration with GlobalGiving, we now have access to a trusted international platform that helps us mobilize the resources we need. This partnership offers us global visibility and a better chance to meet our funding goal.
So far, we have raised $120 USD, but we are confident that with the continued support of generous donors through GlobalGiving, we will reach our target of $10,000 USD to fully implement this vital project.
6. Project Budget Overview
This budget will cover materials, hygiene kit production, training sessions, logistics, and the setup of the cooperative.
