In Nigeria, thousands of displaced girls are out of school due to conflict, displacement, or poverty. This project supports 100 girls with full access to one year of schooling, including tuition, uniforms, books, and school supplies. Many have missed years of education, leaving them vulnerable to early marriage, exploitation, and poverty. Immediate support is needed so these girls can continue their education, gain knowledge, and build safer, more independent futures.
Displaced girls in Nigeria face barriers to education due to conflict, poverty, and unstable living conditions. Many have missed years of school, leaving them at risk of illiteracy, child marriage, and exploitation. Families cannot afford tuition, uniforms, or books, and schools are often far from temporary settlements. Without access to education, these girls lack opportunities for personal growth, independence, and future employment.
This project provides 100 displaced girls with full access to one year of schooling, including tuition, uniforms, books, and learning materials. Girls will also receive meals and basic support to stay healthy and focused. Mentors and teachers will monitor attendance and progress. By removing financial and logistical barriers, the project ensures girls can learn in a safe environment, regain lost education, and pursue opportunities previously unavailable due to displacement.
Access to education equips girls with literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills that improve lifelong opportunities. Educated girls are more likely to delay marriage, earn income, and contribute positively to their families & communities. Communities benefit as more children complete schooling, reducing illiteracy and poverty. This project creates a foundation for stability, independence & safe futures for displaced girls, helping them break cycles of poverty & vulnerability.
