Unemployment is a problem in South Africa which has just increased to 29%. Due to lack of resources the youth lack the relevant skills to apply for jobs and maintain jobs. Clothes For Life aims to partner with young people in their journey to find jobs, with the ultimate goal of self-confidence and sustainability.
Unemployed youth lack the skills and resources to look for job so that they can earn a living and sustain themselves.
We aim to give the youth the following skills: CV writing, interview skills & tips, presentation skills and interview & professional clothes. With these skills they are more equipped to look for jobs and maintain them, earn an income and lift themselves out of poverty.
The project will help 100 unemployed youth with skills that will enable them to find and maintain a job. This will be a rippling effect because they will be able to sustain themselves, contribute to the community's economy and escape poverty.
