Dear Supporter,
This project was started in 2012 to assist Daktari Outreach with the activities of various wildlife clubs among disadvantaged youth in Limpopo Province, South Africa. Donations to this project have been used to fund fuel, stationary and other resources used in the meetings, discussions and activities of the wildlife clubs. The funds even enabled a data projector to be bought that is taken along to each meeting to facilitate slideshows, presentations and other media that introduce discussions and debate on wildlife and grassroots conservation topics by club members.
Towards the end of 2013 and into 2014 funds from this project were used to assist one of the promising former wildlife club members with gaining his professional field guiding qualifications and drivers licence to enable him to gain full time paid employment! Kutullo is now employed as a guide and researcher, using his skills and passion to educate and inspire people from all over the world in the area of wildlife conservation.
As the project closes we thank all those who donated for their generous support, and if you would like to continue to support Daktari’s Outreach program, they are now a fully operating charity that can be found right her on GlobalGiving (http://www.globalgiving.org/donate/992/daktari-bush-school-and-wildlife-orphanage/).
Thank you again for supporting this project.
All the best
