In addition to learning about and caring for wildlife in their environment this project aims to get the children to look after their own environments as well.
As such a day was organised to get the children to clean their own village. Armed with bin bags and gloves children and volunteers set to work cleaning 3kms of street and the taxi rank returning with 65 bin bags full of trash!
To wind down after a hard days graft the team took in beautiful views of the mountains at the dam with a soft drink.
We have been working hard to establish a plan for expanding eco clubs in the area and have some very exciting ideas. We look forward to seeing them develop in the new year.
Many thanks for your support for this project.
