The academic year 2023 - 2024 started in September and now among 400 children we have at the center, more than 200 get scholarship support (School fees, uniforms, school materials etc) because through this project.

We have increased the number of scholars in Early Childhood Education program from 83 to 123 who are receiving basic quality education at our center as well as a breakfast. This program is avoiding children from going with their mothers to trade on street or stay unsafe at home. Also, little children access nursery to acquire pre-primary skills which is a great foundation to start their education journey.

The number of our scholars in primary and secondary school is now 84 children who receive school materials, school fees, coaching etc. This is helping children to gain hope for their future and also to improve their academic performnace as they are not being chased away due to not paying the school fees. In addition, they also receive lunch at school.

We were able to train more than 40 women in our sewing and knitting classes. Among the graduates, 20 of them started to work in our workshop and they can now be able to maintain regular income and solve their families basic needs.

Asa  highlights,  with this project, we have the following impact:

  • More than 200 children are benefiting the scholarship program.
  • This program avoided school dropout of more than 50 children
  • It has boosted the academic performances of the children at the level of 25%
  • Every child get lunch or breakfast everyday as a package within the scholarship.
  • It stopped children from ending up in the street at the rate of 15%
  • 20 mothers of the little children learnt how to do sewing and now they managed to maintain regular income.

We are proud of these lives that are being transformed and thankful for the generosity and support from the donors. This couldn't have happened without your support. We are sustaining and expanding our scholarship program so that every child can access education and other personal development opportunities to reach his/her full potential.
