For school year 2021-2022, we have 4 refugees in the first class (2 boys and 2 girls) and 5 in the second year (4 boys and 1 girl).
Those children have been selected with the help of UNHCR Burkina Faso.
All the students have started the new trimester on Janaury 4th. Unfortunatly last week, their was no teaching due to the coup which happened in Burkina. Today everything is normal again.
The 5 students of the second year keep on having excellent results. The first of the class is one of them. Regarding the 4 new students in the first year, the results are not so bright with one of the girl being last of her class. We are looking into it to see how we can help them to perform better.
One of the motivation is the fact that they have agronomy and husbandery lectures and workshops. All students love to be learning outside of the class room, in the gardens or in the stables.
Prices of food Item have gone up a lot and all burkinabé are struggling to have at least 2 meals per day. At the LAP we are also facing price increase and we really need your help (and from friends) in order to balance our budget.
Thank a lot for your support
