At the end of the 4th year of secondary all students have to pass an exam called BEPC. You need to have passed this exam if you want to keep on studying.
5 of the refugees students were in the 4th year. The exam BEPC was at the beginningf of June, four out of five manage to get it (80%) a very good success rate when the class success rate was 61% and the national average is around 35%.
The student who did not get the BEPC was the only girl we had from refugees families. The 4 boys who have succeeded will most likely keep on studying at the LAP for an additional 4 years.
This will depend if we find enough funds to keep them at the LAP. Costs for one student for this new cycle is 830 US$ for one year.
We would like to have more refugees children at the LAP for this we need your help.
