Most of the 30.000 refugees in Burkina are coming from Mali.
The security situation has displaced over 2.000.000 Burkinabés. Even so some villagers are going back home, many are still refugees in their own country.
Two of our 12 villages were affected by terrorism. The parents of the students at the LAP from those villages could not afford to pay their school fees. This will be also the case for this new school year which has just started.
Villagers of those 2 villages were able to go home before the rainy season and things should get back to normal for the coming years.
Displaced children are often not going to school at all. This is not good for the future of Burkina.
We need your support in order to take more of those children at our school.
Thank you.
