We want to share with all our friends one of our latest activities at Mensajeros de la Paz CAIF in Uruguay. To celebrate Labor Day, we held a workshop of professions, where children could dress up as different jobs. They enjoyed a lot “working” as ambulance drivers, hairdressers, doctors and nurses, growers, dressmakers, road workers, etc, as you can see in the pictures below.
These activities contribute to play and amusement, but also to learn a lot in a relaxed way. They promote respect and diversity and at the same time the children learn different roles within the society. Furthermore, they mean a familiar implication because families helped us to prepare the toys through arranging boxes, clothes, sticks and other stuff.
Thank you to all our friends and supporters for allowing us to keep on with our project!
