Our three Mensajeros de la Paz CAIF early childhood centers resumed activities on the first Monday of February after the annual break. The initial weeks focused on helping children adapt gradually to the educational environment, supporting separation from caregivers, new routines, and socialization. Thanks to the warm weather, many activities took place outdoors, including water play. This period also allowed the technical team to strengthen relationships with families and begin psychosocial support when needed, with caregivers often participating in classroom activities.
All three centers are currently operating at full capacity: 216 children aged 1–3 attend daily, and 148 children aged 0–2 participate weekly in the “Opportune Experiences” workshops with an adult caregiver.
This progress is possible thanks to the continued support of our donors. Your contributions help ensure safe spaces, trained staff, nutritious food, and comprehensive care for young children during a crucial stage of their development, while also strengthening families and community support networks in vulnerable contexts.
