Dear Friends and supporters,
We would like to share with you some of the latest activities that we have started up. As you know with every project we undertake in our centers, the protagonists of the learning experiences are the children.
In the Opportunity Experiences workshops we carry out sensory experiences with babies from 0 to 24 months. Giving them the possibility of experimenting with different senses (textures, tastes, temperatures, tactile sensations), they enjoy diverse sensory experiences that favor different aspects of development. Besides, thanks to a generous donation from the Government of the Canary Islands, we received, among other things, trolleys that became an ideal resource to accompany the strengthening of the infants' first steps.
With the older children we proposed a musical workshop. As always, we try to involve the families in order to achieve a more comprehensive attention to vulnerable groups. The children themselves, the educators and the parents worked collaboratively to create instruments from scrap materials. The project gave the children the opportunity to express themselves through music, being the creators both of instruments and sound.
We wish to thank you for your support that allows us to keep on with our projects for the children!
