Children in Zabzugu District in Northern Ghana face serious health challenges due to poverty, limited access to healthcare, and long distances to medical facilities. Many sick children suffer from malaria, infections, malnutrition, and untreated conditions because families cannot afford medical care. This project will provide free medical treatment, medicines, and health support for 300 sick children in deprived communities.
Many families in Zabzugu District live in poverty and cannot access timely healthcare for their children. Health facilities are limited, and parents often delay treatment due to cost and distance. As a result, many children suffer from preventable and treatable illnesses that worsen over time.
This project will organize medical outreach services and provide free consultations, essential medicines, health screenings, and basic treatment for sick children in Zabzugu District. It will also support early diagnosis and referral of serious cases to health facilities.
The project will improve child health outcomes in Zabzugu District by treating 300 sick children, reducing preventable child illness complications, and improving access to early healthcare in deprived rural communities.
