Summary

Since the start of the full-scale war in February 2022 in Ukraine, many people have left their homes in search of safety. One of the most vulnerable groups is family-type children's homes, each caring for 5 to 10 children. We've been focusing on helping the neediest families, supporting 75 such homes since the beginning of 2022. This project aims to raise funds for four family-type children's homes in different regions of Ukraine. Read their remarkable stories

Challenge

Since the start of the full-scale war in February 2022 in Ukraine, many people have left their homes in search of safety. One of the most vulnerable groups is family-type children's homes, each caring for 5 to 10 children. We've been focusing on helping the neediest families, supporting 75 such homes since the beginning of 2022.

Solution

We will supply 4 family-type children's homes with needed equipment to survive the winter 2024: One family will receive a 7.5 kW portable electric power plant to overcome electricity blackouts The second family will receive a portable electric charging depot + prime necessity items to endure electricity blackouts The third will receive a portable electric charging depot to survive winter electricity blackouts. The fourth family will receive sets of bed linens and a hot water boiler

Long-Term Impact

With granted equipment families would have the possibility to overcome electricity blackouts during winter and maintain their needs in heat. Children will be able to continue remote studying.
