Christmas Food Support for 500 Families

By Joy Ojochogwu Etubi | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you to everyone who has already given toward the Help 500 Families with Christmas Food project. Your kindness shows care for families who struggle most during the holiday season.

Many low-income households face serious food shortages in December. Daily earners are hit hard when prices rise, and families affected by job loss, displacement, or flooding often cannot afford regular meals. For many children, the holidays pass without a proper meal or any sense of celebration.

This project is planned to provide Christmas food packs to 500 families, each containing rice, beans, cooking oil, and basic seasoning. Local teams will source the food, pack it, and deliver directly to households identified through trusted community leaders and support groups, so assistance reaches those who need it most.

At this point, although donations have been received, the amount available will not be enough to kickstart the project yet. Procurement, packaging, and delivery activities cannot begin until additional support is secured.

Once the project moves forward, these food packs will help reduce hunger and ease stress during the holidays, allowing families to share meals together at a difficult time. We will continue to share updates as plans progress.

Thank you for standing with families in need during the Christmas season.

Kind regards,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
