We continue to support more young people with cancer...

By Yolima Mendez | Yolima Mendez

Through “Programa Jóvenes en Contacto” (Youth in Touch Program) and thanks to your contribution, we have been able to reach more kids with cancer!

Diego and Maria Camila visited Esteban in the hospital. These visits have a positive effect among young and adolescent patients in active treatment. The stories of young survivors like Diego’s and Maria Camila’s are inspiring and become good moments that change the routine of those hospitalized as in the case of Esteban.

Diego also visited Diana accompanied by Erika, another survivor. Diana was diagnosed with acute leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant; she shared with these youngsters her experience.

We are still visiting more young people under treatment, we are still making phone contact with them; a call in these moments is so important, even more when the goal is to encourage, give hope and comfort those fighting to overcome the disease.

We thank each one of you for your generous support and we invite you to remain being “Inspiradores the Vida” (Inspirators of Life)

What do you think about this project? What would you suggest us to do?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
