When you Help an Orphan in India Receive an Education, you are impacting the lives of the most vulnerable and making strategic differences in the lives of individual children.
Sudharani, lost her father in an accident when she was a young child. Her mother is illiterate and was unable to provide for herself and her daughter. Her family tried to get her mother remarried, but stories about how her husband died and having a girl child made it difficult to find a good match. The man she eventually married turned out to be an alcoholic and a thief. Fearing for the life and safety of her daughter she placed her in our children’s home.
Sudharani is now safe and has joined in school where she is doing well. She is only twelve but has set her sights on attending college. Her life is as bright as her smile.
