Thanks to you, children in India are receiving essential education that they otherwise would not be able to afford!
Durga is in the 10th grade. Because of your generosity, she is able to go to school every day and learn more about her favorite subject, science.
Many girls are not given the opportunity to go to school in rural India. It is too expensive, so priority goes to the boys. Too often, these girls' only options are fall into child labor or child marriage.
But because of you, Durga does get the chance to learn. This is what she says about it:
"I am so happy I get to go to school. I have great encouragement and I wish to study well and utilize this great opportunity I have. Even many of my friends have no privilege to have all these supplies. This year I want to achieve good grades in my class. Eventually, I would like to become a beautician or teacher."
