Venkat is Receiving an Education Because of You!

By John Spakrs | President, India Partners

School can be difficult no matter where you live, but when students don't have a consistent home, learning becomes even harder.

Venkat is in the 9th grade, and his parents make their income by shattering rocks in different areas of the country. The pay is very little, and traveling for 6 or more months is common. Often Venkat and his brother would lack basic necessities such as food and school fees.

But because of your generosity, Venkat and his brother are both in school now! They stay at the boys' home, so they have a safe and consistent place to live and get nutritious meals every day.

Venkat says: "I feel very lucky to take part in these things. We have leisure time after school before our study session starts we are playing so many outdoor games. And I am so thankful for all the facilities and provisions I'm really happy here. Thank you!"

Education is one of the best tools to ending the cycle of poverty, and you are setting Venkat and students like him up for success when you give to the orphan education fund.

Thank you for changing lives!
