You are helping Raju work towards his dream career

Thanks for giving Raju an education
Thanks for giving Raju an education

Dear friend,

I wanted to thank you for helping children get an education! Your gift is transforming lives and helping a child in India overcome poverty by going to school. There are currently 241 children helped every month through this project. Your gift enables them to go to school and thrive. Many of these children come from poor families or have been orphaned with no one to care for them. Your support is also ensuring that these children are receiving their most basic needs like food, clothing and shelter.

One of the children you are helping is Raju. In order to survive, Raju’s parents sent him into the streets to beg for money and food while they labored in the fields.

His family was so poor that they didn’t have the money to provide Raju with a home to sleep in, good clothes, food or an education.

With your gift, you helped Raju, and children like him, experience a life that he never imagined was possible. Your gift changed Raju’s life forever by providing him with a home where he is nourished and protected every day, and a chance to go to school and get an education.

Raju used to hunt for rats just to satisfy his hunger. But he was still very malnourished. He was too weak to even walk or stand when he first came to India Partners’ children’s home.

Today, 10-year old Raju is thriving. He is well-fed and he is strong enough to run and play with the other children in the home.

“I feel truly blessed now that I’m in the children’s home,” Raju said.

With your help, Raju has the privilege to attend school to work towards his dream career.

“When I grow up, I want to be a police officer,” Raju said.

You are helping children like Raju succeed and thrive. Thank you again for your generous support.

Sincerely,

John Sparks
