No longer chasing cattle - Sudhakar's story

By John Sparks | President

No longer watching cattle, now he can succeed.
No longer watching cattle, now he can succeed.

Dear friend,

Your gift is helping a child in India thrive. There are currently 244 children helped every month through this project. Your gift enables them to go to school and receive a quality education. If needed, they receive help to ensure their most basic needs for food and shelter are being met. Many of these children come from poor families or have no parents at all. Living in extreme poverty is such a struggle, so an education often seems impossible.

With your support, you can give a child a better future.

This is Sudhakar.  Both his parents died when he was about 8 years old.  After their deaths, he roamed the streets begging for food.  A man took him off the streets and made Sudhakar watch after his cattle.  The work was too hard for such a young boy, so one day he ran away.  Not long after running away, he heard about India Partner’s Children’s Home where he could receive food, shelter and an education. He made his way to our Children's Home and was accepted with open arms

Sudhakar found a place where he can live. Sorrowfully, there are many others living in an impoverished environment where they are not getting all their basic needs covered. To succeed and thrive these children need to go to school and study maths and spelling; this would surely change their future. They need to receive nutritious meals and to enjoy the benefits of a caring and loving home. Your gifts are accomplishing this.

You made a difference and brought a smile to one of the orphans in the children's home. Thank you!  Your gift cares for a child and gives them a brighter future.

If you would like to provide more children with an education, a boy like Sudhakar, please give again. When you give through India Partners you're making a big impact on the lives of children yearning for a better life.

Sincerely,

John Sparks
