Your gift is helping a child in India thrive. There are currently 244 children helped every month through this project. Your gift enables them to go to school and receive a quality education. If needed, they receive help to ensure their most basic needs for food and shelter are being met. Many of these children come from poor families or have no parents at all. Living in extreme poverty is such a struggle, so an education often seems impossible.
With your support to Help an orphan in Indian receive an Education, you can give a child a better future. Allow me to tell you about Reshma.
Reshma’s father died with unknown disease when she was only three, her mother is a young widow with two daughters, Reshma being the eldest. Her mother works as a daily laborer, planting and harvesting in the fields when she can find work. When her mother goes to work there is no one to care for Reshma. She was roaming the streets in her village, not attending school and was at extreme risk to be trafficked as she lacked essential adult supervision 12 hours a day. Food, clothing, education and nurture were lacking, as she suffered in extreme poverty.
Her mother has admitted her into our Children’s home near her village with the hope that with her needs met she will have the opportunity for a successful life. Having never been to school she struggles with her studies a little, but she is learning quickly and will eventually catch up with the other students in her class.
I visited the Children’s home recently where I met Reshma and was impressed by her adaptability. I thought you might be interested in her story.
If you would like to provide a girl like Reshma with an education, please take this opportunity. When you give through Help an orphan in Indian receive an Education you're making a big impact on the lives of children yearning for a better life.
Sincerely,
John Sparks
