Dear Friend,
I wanted to thank you for helping children get an education! Your gift is transforming lives and helping a child in India overcome poverty by going to school. There are currently 244 children helped every month through this project. Your gift enables them to go to school and thrive. Many of these children come from extremely poor families or are orphaned with no one to care for them. Your support is ensuring they receive their most basic needs like food, clothing and education.
With your support to Help an orphan in India receive an Education, you give a child a better future. Allow me to tell you about Lalitha.
Lalitha is growing up in a very dysfunctional home. Her father is rarely home and is frequently drunk. He shows up to beat her mother and grab any available cash. Her mother cooks and cleans in three different homes to try to support her children but the fact that she is illiterate means she will never make ends meet. Without help from outside, Lalitha has zero chance to succeed. Her parents’ failure will lead to her failure.
But Lalitha is supported by people like you. Your gifts make the difference in her likelihood for success.
Lalitha is smart, she knows she wants nothing of the home life she has today so she studies hard. She also makes sure that her younger brother does too. She understands that their poverty is correlated to her parents’ lack of education and that she will have an opportunity for success if she applies herself to her studies.
She recently graduated from 10th grade. Her score of 97.8 was the best in her school and the Junior Colleges have already come seeking her to enroll. Without someone like you to help pay her basic needs, she would have dropped out years ago and would be cleaning houses like her mother.
It's all because of your gift! Thank you so much for caring for children like Lalitha. Your gifts to “Help an orphan in India receive an education,” are changing lives. Take the opportunity today to help Lalitha succeed; your gift will have significant impact. She wants to be an engineer and with your help she will reach her goal.
Sincerely,
John Sparks
