Thanks for helping a child get an education

By John Sparks | President, India Partners

Thanks for providing a child with an education!
Thanks for providing a child with an education!

Dear Friend,

I wanted to thank you for helping children get an education! An education is a powerful tool for a child living in poverty. Your gift is transforming lives and equipping a child with a chance to succeed in the future. There are currently 364 children helped every month through this project. Your gift enables them to go to school and thrive. Many of these children come from extremely poor families or are orphaned with no one to care for them.

Your support is also ensuring they receive their most basic needs like food, clothing and education. With your support to Help an orphan in India receive an Education, you give a child like Prasad a better future.

Prasad’s father unexpectedly died of a heart attack 3 years ago. Since that time, Prasad and his mother have struggled to survive financially. His mother earns a very small income as a sweeper at a local school. Before being helped, Prasad was unable to attend school regularly because his mother couldn't regularly pay the school fees and because he lived too far away from school and wasn't always able to pay for a ride.

Because of your help, Prasad’s school fees are always paid on time and he's able to go to school! He also received the special $75 gift of a bicycle. Now he never has to miss school because it is too far to walk or because he does not have the money for a ride. His bicycle will help him get to class on time.

Your gift is providing a great education and giving Prasad hope for a bright future. It's all because of your gift! Thank you so much for caring for children like Prasad. Your gifts to “Help an orphan in India receive an education” are changing lives. Take the opportunity today to help more children like Prasad.

Sincerely,

John Sparks
