Dear Supporter,
We are very excited to bring you news that the Seychelles SPCA is going to be hosting a free sterilization program this November on two of the neighbouring islands, Praslin and La Digue. This is very exciting for the SSPCA as an organisation as we can see our work begin to grow and have a real, meaningful impact.
When we first opened this project, the SSPCA could only run very limited clinics on the main island of Mahe. This is a major achievement for us to be able to travel further a field and offer our services on a bigger scale. We are aiming to host this event in November, but plans are still being discussed with all of the relevant stakeholders. Without your donations none of this would be possible. Things that we will we be using funds for are promoting the clinics, purchising supplies, travel costs and wages for our assistants.
With so many stray and neglected animals on the street, it is extremely important to get the animals sterilized so that we can begin to control the population of stray dogs and cats. These animals are not only living a hard life, but also pose a high risk of spreading infection and disease. We hope that with fewer animals breeding unchecked we will be able to offer a better quality of life to more animals.
We look forward to bringing you news and updates about the sterilisation program!
Thank you for your continued and generous support.
With Gratitude,
GVI Seychelles
