Education can end exploitation of 1000 children

Thank you for your generous support as it continues to make an impact in the lives of the slum children. Your generosity is helping them get a quality education.

Due to the increasing cases of COVID-19, the pandemic was a long battle that they had to deal with. However, keeping the children motivated and in high spirits was equally important. On the 12^th of August, we started slum school in naikavaddo with 16 students, followed by Dongerpur slum with 22 children and Agarvaddo slum with 27 children. Initially, we educated them about safety measures like wearing masks, social distancing, and washing hands from time to time and still continue to teach about safety measures. Our trained teachers have taken the initiative to provide education at their doorstep, teaching them Alphabet, numbers, Moral story, and Rhymes, conducting activities and games. Recently we also started slum school in Mapusa Street with 30 children. Parents and children are happy to have this slum school class since they don’t have to worry about their children’s education during covid-19.
