Dear Patron,

Education plays a crucial role in addressing and preventing exploitation, particularly among vulnerable populations such as children and youth. Lack of education can make individuals more susceptible to exploitation, as it leaves them vulnerable to manipulation and limits their opportunities for economic empowerment.

Education can protect children from a life of exploitation by providing them with knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities that can help them recognize and resist exploitative situations. To help all such children from the clutches of exploitation, El Shaddai has opened formal, non-formal and slum schools in Goa and across other states in India. We have 200 children residing in our homes, with 870 children attending our schools in Goa (North and South) and other states of India. We also have community Shelters where they are taught various subjects and vocational skills.

It gives us immense joy to see so many of our children have been educated and are doing extremely well in their respective careers. Till date, we have educated 2, 27,000 children and individuals. We have a heart-felt transformation story of a boy named Rohan (name changed). He grew up in a small, impoverished slum, where life was a constant struggle. From an early age, he was determined to break free from the cycle of poverty that surrounded him. The slum that he lived in had no schools, and many children were forced to work to support their family's income.

One day, fate smiled upon him when an El Shaddai outreach worker noticed his thirst for knowledge. He was immediately enrolled at our daycare Shelter where he was given nutritious food and Education. It was a dream come true for the young boy who had once believed that education was out of reach. He never forgot his humble beginnings, and he dedicated his life to giving back to his community. He has joined us now in our mission to save children's lives and want to reach out to more children like him.

It proves that no matter where we come from, with determination, hard work, and the power of education, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and those around us. We are truly humbled by your commitment and belief in our cause. We deeply appreciate your trust in our organization and the work we do. With your help and support, we can empower individuals to protect themselves and build a more equitable and just society and by ensuring access to quality education, we can help break the cycle of exploitation and provide children with the tools they need to build a better future for themselves.

Best wishes from the El Shaddai family!

Sincerely
