Hagar continues to support women and girls escaping human trafficking in Cambodia. Thirty women and girls are currently receiving holistic care, including medical care, safe accommodation, counseling, case management, vocational training, small-business start up, and family reunification supports.
In Cambodia, many women who are receiving care from Hagar have escaped trafficking to China where they were forced into coerced marriages. These young women return to Cambodia after being repatriated by Immigration Detention Centers in China, and are deeply traumatized. Through dedicated care and support, each of these women walk a journey towards healing and restoration.
It's through the support of generous donors and the GlobalGiving Community that this work is made possible.
