Women survivors of trafficking are rebuilding their lives

By Amie Gosselin | Fundraising & Communications Director

Hagar continues to welcome new survivors of human trafficking into it's care. Just a few weeks ago, 10 new survivors - all trafficking victims from Cambodia to China -- were welcomed at our Survivor Care Program in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There, they received holistic support to begin their journey to sustained freedom.

Services include:

  • Trauma Counseling
  • Social Work
  • Family Reunification
  • Safe shelter
  • Nutritious meals
  • Medical Care
  • Essential hygiene items

Over the course of the next two years, Hagar's frontline staff will continue to work directly with each of these women to ensure they are making progress in their healing journeys.
