Dear Project Supporters,
The school year ended well for the Ebola orphans - thanks to your ongoing support. Aisha (pictured) has taken the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) and hopes to pass with high scores. Dorcas has registered for Private WASSCE. Geraldine completed her first year of college. Geraldine and Dorcas (pictured together) celebrated their birthdays in April.
The Dream home welcomed visitors including Aunty Adama and Mr. Alie in May. Aunty Adama gave four bags of used clothes and shoes to the kids at Dream Home. Mr. Alie gave assorted items like toothpaste, body lotions and deodorant to the children. They also welcomed Aunty Cecelia’s four boxes of peanuts that are sent every month and are greatly enjoyed by the children.
The installation of the solar water pump at the Dream Home has been completed. This pump is now supplying water to the tank through solar energy. Water is stored in the tank for both domestic work and bath taking. Thanks so much for helping to make this possible.
The home has also been freshly repainted. Broken electrical outlets and fixtures have been fixed.
Your continued support is helping Ebola orphans live a normal lifestyle and it is helping them grow up to be model citizens. You are truly changing lives!
With great appreciation,
Amy & The Develop Africa Team
