R40,000 will help secure Gemini's future at Cheetah Experience with us forever. Born premature, and struggling to thrive, staff had to step in and care for Gemini when her mother rejected her. Since that very first day she has stolen the hearts of many staff and volunteers, with her feisty nature and fighting spirit. Currently Gemini is not owned by Cheetah Experience, to change that we must raise R40,000 then we are secure in the knowledge that she will remain in our care forever.
Gemini was born at Cheetah Experience while we were caring for her parents Zodiac and Callista. We were asked to help look after Zodiac and Callista while their forever home was being organised. Zodiac and Callista did not belong to Cheetah Experience, so Gemini also does not belong to us. In order to change that we must raise R40,000/3000 usd. Late 2016 we decided to no longer breed leopards, our females are now on contraception to prevent any breeding.
Raising R40,000 will allow Gemini to legally be signed over to us. We will be secure in the knowledge that she will remain in our care forever.
Gemini the leopard will be able to remain at Cheetah Experience forever, where she will be safe and loved. Cheetah Experience is an educational facility, Gemini will be a great ambassador for her species and help educate people about the plight of leopards in general as well as the black leopard population.
