Help Cheetah Experience turn waste into compost!

Summary

This project will allow us to turn food waste into compost, this is not only better for the environment, but we will also be able to sell excess compost to make a profit. Any money raised from selling compost can be used to buy more trees and materials to create shade for the animals.

Challenge

Every single day there is some food waste after preparing the food for the animals, from feathers and skin, to bones and intestines. We are currently struggling to safely dispose of food waste in a way that minimises impact on the environment.

Solution

The Earth Duo Composter will allow us to turn 2000kg food and garden waste into compost each month, thus reducing environmental impact.

Long-Term Impact

Any compost produced will be used on our own trees and plants, with any excess being able to be sold onsite, with the profits being used to help buy more trees, or materials to create shade for our animals.
