Psychological assistance for children in Bucha

Since the beginning of 2022, our Charitable Foundation "Your Support" has been providing psychological support to children and women affected by the war. In 2023 alone, we provided psychosocial support services for 450 children, art therapy services for 288 children, and conducted trainings for 344 children on the following topics: "School of Parenting", sexual education and trainings involving psychologists.

The war leaves its mark on everyone, but children and women are a particularly vulnerable group.

Adults can more easily adapt to the conditions of war, using the defense mechanisms they have already acquired, but the necessary ways of behavior are not yet sufficiently developed in children, who are influenced by all external information because they cannot filter it due to their age. In this state of misunderstanding and increased sense of helplessness, children who have experienced psychological trauma need support and compassion.

All children and women who have experienced trauma need psychological support.

That is why we are completing the arrangement of a sensory room and preparing to launch another place, namely the Family Center for Mental Wellbeing "Your Support", where children and women will have access to psychological assistance.
