Dear Friends,
Thank you for supporting Ukraine’s largest children’s hospital, Okhmatdyt.
We’re glad to share good news about the hospital’s restoration following the devastating missile attack. As members of the Restoration Council, we helped present the official reconstruction plan and preliminary cost estimate for the hospital’s main building. The government has now launched the tender process. While progress may seem slow from the outside, we’re committed to ensuring every step is guided by transparency, high standards, and a clear focus on long-term impact for the children of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the hospital continues to save children’s lives every day, working in spaces that remain usable. And urgent needs can’t wait. Thanks to your support and the generosity of many others we’ve already delivered over $150,000 worth of critical medical supplies and equipment this year. Among the most vital: a portable ultrasound machine for the intensive care unit, where the most vulnerable patients, many of them newborns, are treated. For these little ones, bedside ultrasound can mean the difference between life and death.
Many of the children receiving treatment at Okhmatdyt like little Karina in the photo stay at our Dacha Family House, where they find comfort and safety far from home. Each day, our team drives them to the hospital for essential procedures, medications, and therapies, and brings them back to a warm, home-like space filled with care and compassion.
We’re deeply grateful to you. Your generosity makes all of this possible. Together, we stand with the children of Ukraine.
P.S. Give today and your gift will be matched through GlobalGiving’s Together for Ukraine campaign, doubling your impact for children in need.
